Midland Pressure Die casting operate a 24-hour aluminium & zinc pressure die casting casting operation utilising automated PLC controlled processes for consistent quality and efficient casting of product in a variety of aluminium and zinc alloys.
We are capable of producing via cold chamber aluminium die castings up to 6.5 Kg in weight. Our hot chamber zinc die casting plant is capable of producing die castings up to 3 Kg in weight.
11 x aluminium die casting machines ranging from 150T to 750T including industry established Idra and Italpresse machines, fully automated systems including ABB 6-axis robots,
7 x zinc die casting machines ranging from 20T to 200T including industry standard Frech machines with fully automated systems.
We cater for high and low volume aluminium & zinc pressure die casting orders. Our standardisation of plant machinery provides contingency for high volume supply as well as capacity, and with our in-house tool room we manufacture new tooling as well as offering a rapid tool conversion service to put into production any existing tooling which may require this.
We can also offer gravity die cast services for low volume, high strength, complex designed aluminium components.
With the input of MPD industry experience and our design team and casting feasibility analysis service we provide new tooling which provides optimum design for aluminium & zinc pressure die casting manufacture and quality.
